Day 1

Yangon Arrival

Mingalarbar & Warmest Welcome from Yangon International Air-port. Then transfer to your hotel for check-in, tour will start from Yangon city center with many colonial style buildings; The Chinatown area & India Quarter, Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years and makes a useful landmark in down town Yangon and Mahabandula Park (Independent Monument), City Hall, High Court, Strand road, Post Office, British Council for Enjoy your photo taking Stop. Lunch at local restaurant. Then visit to Botataung Pagoda (well known for Buddha Hair Relics chamber). In the Afternoon, drive around the Kandawgyi Park and pass through the Karaweik Royal Barge for refreshment and take photo view. Then visit to the reclining Buddha at Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, is almost as large as the enormous figure in Bago Shwethalyaung. In the evening, visit the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda and enjoy sunset, one of the wonders of the greatest Pagoda and the heart of Buddhist in Myanmar. It was believed to have been built over 2500 years ago, since Buddha alive time. Dinner at Karaweike Palace Restaurant watching Myanmar Traditional Dancing Show & Puppetry Show. Overnight at Yangon.


Day 2

Yangon – Golden Rock (Kyeik Htee Yoe) – Yangon

Early morning depart from Yangon and drive to Golden Rock (Kyeik Htee Yoe) pagoda. Drive through seemingly endless paddy fields to the small town of Kyeik Hto and on to “the Base Camp” of Kim Pum. Arrived in Kim Pum Camp take a local Truck/bus up a bumpy track about half way up the mountain (Private truck are available at extra costs – please ask your Guide to arrange). From here, Walk up the path which climbs steeply to the legendary “Golden Rock”. The Climb takes around 1hour and those unwilling, or not fit enough to walk can hire four porters to carry them in a sedan chair. The climb offers magnificient views over the surrounding country-side and the opportunity to make friends with the many local people who make the pilgrimage to Kyeik Htee Yoe Pagoda. Golden Rock (Kyeik Htee Yoe) Pagoda, A huge boulder completely covered by gold leaves and delicately balanced on the edge of cliff. The incredible “Golden Rock” sits precariously on top of the mountain, and is said to balance thanks to a precisely placed hair of Buddha. Mount Kyeik Htee Yoe are amazing, Weather permitting and watch the beauty of sunset views or dawn at this pilgrimage site. Dinner and Overnight at Kyeik Htee Yoe.


Day 3

Golden Rock – Mawlamyaing

Early risers may enjoy returning to the Golden Rock; to watch the sunrise and visit for photo taking in Mt.Kyeik Htee Yoe. After breakfast, walk down the mountain and return by truck to your car/minibus, or alternatively walk all the way down to the base camp at Kinpun. Drive south towards Mawlamyine city, the capital of Mon State. The road abounds with rich local life and scenic landscape, visit to Seindone Minbaya Kyaung, A wooden Structure originally was the residence where King Mindon’s Queen sought refuge. Later it became a monastery, so is named after the queen. Visit Mahamuni Pagoda, built in typical Mon style, with covered walkways linking the various square shrine buildings. Lunch at local restaurant. After Lunch, we will also pay a visit to Taung Waing Pagodas where all can see Buddha image and 500 Holy monks’ follower statues exit. Then visit the Yadanabon Myint Monastery with beautiful wood carvings showing the previous life of Buddha. Continue visit to Kyaikthalan Pagoda on a ridge of hill, overlooking the town and offering a great refreshing view and the nearby viewpoint to enjoy beautiful sunset views over the habour and out across the River. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Mawlamyaing.


Day 4

Hpa Ann – Mawlamyine

After breakfast, drive to Hpa An, the capital of Kayin State. The road abounds with rich local life and scenic landscape. In the afternoon, visit the Sa Dan Cave (there had rock, rock fountains). This cave has a length of 2260 feet with many stalactites/stalagmites and a natural lake at the end of the cave. Also visit the Kaw Koon Cave – an invaluable cultural heritage questionably date back to 7-AD and where Buddha figures are carved out of the wall of the cave. Continues visit to Kyauk ka Latt which is a small rock hill formed look like a wine glass. Then visit to Lumbini Garden with thousand of Buddha images at the base of Mt.Zwegabin. Late evening drive back to Mawlamyine . Overnight in Mawlamyine.


Day 5

Mawlamyaing – Thanphyuzayat

After breakfast, we will drive to Kyaikkami , small town where Judson, and American Priest, arrived in 1825, with a nice view of beach is called Setse here some shopping at the colorful local souvenir shop. You will visit Ye-Le Pagoda, which is perched over the sea and reached by a two level bridge (the lower level is submerged at high tide). This shrine is said to house a Buddha image which floated on a raft from Sri Lanka and landed at this spot near Kyaikkami. Look out for the shrine built in the shape of a boat. On the way back we will plan for lunch and we will drop and looking around an hour or more Thanphyuzayat the Second World’s War Cemetery where was buried soliders/allies which contains (37771) graves who died builtding the Burma-Siam railway. (death railway). After that we will return to Mawlamyaing, on the way you will see very long and large reclining Buddha Image (Win Sein Taw Ya); near Mudon, where largest reclining Buddha in the world is under construction and Kyaikmaraw Pagoda, built by Queen Shin Saw Pu in 1455 in the late Mon regional style on the way. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Mawlamyaing.


Day 6

Mawlamyaing – Bago – Yangon

After Breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive back to Yangon. On the way sightseeing at Bago city; the ancient Mon Capital. Then visit to Shwemawdaw Pagoda; which has a stupa inlaid with diamonds and is Bago’s golden landmark. See Shwethalyaung Buddha, which dates from 994 and is revered throughout Myanmar as the most beautiful Reclining Buddha. The Hanthawadi Palace; Kanbawzadathi Palace, the famous palace of king Bayinnaung (1551-1581 A.D) is being extensively excavated and some buildings are being rebuilt. Kyeik Pun Pagoda, 30 meter high four huge Buddha Images, sitting back to back position. Back to Yangon and on the way visit the Allied War Graves Cemetery near Htauk Kyant. Arrive Yangon in the evening and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Yangon.


Day 6

Yangon Departure

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and relaxation and leisure at hotel. Then enjoy shopping at Bogyoke Market (Formerly named Scott Merket). And transfer to Yangon International Air-port and on the way visit to Kabaraye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda) and Hnee Phaya, Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda then continue to Airport. And Say – “Good Bye!”
