Day (1) Yangon Arrival sightseeing
Arrival at Yangon International Airport welcome by our local tour guide and transfer to your hotel for check in. After that, visit through the colonial style buildings downtown, the Chinatown area and the Indian quarter. Visit Sule Pagoda with its golden chedi which makes a useful landmark in downtown Yangon. Stop alongside Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake to take photographs over the lake towards Shwedagon Pagoda, famous worldwide _ its golden stupa is the ‘heart’ of Buddhist Myanmar. The Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. Overnight at Yangon.
Day (2) Ngapali
Breakfast in Hotel. Morning at leisure before transfer to Yangon Airport for flight to Thandwe, the gateway to the famous Ngapali Beach. Upon arrival in Thandwe, welcome by the hotel staff and proceed to NGAPALI BEACH. Overnight in Ngapali Beach.
Day (3) Exploring the beach and other activities
During the day you can walk to the small island towards the southern end of Ngapali beach, which is accessible by foot when the tide is out. It offers panoramic views of the beach and out to sea from its summit and snorkeling opportunities among st the coral and brightly colored fish that can be found in the waters that surround it.
You can also hire a boat (with guide) to some of islands that lie a few kilometers offshore, where you can snorkel in the crystal clear waters. Check out our fishing boat trip YouTube video, taken near an island to the south of Ngapali.
Hiring a motorbike allows you to explore up and down many Kilometers of sandy beach around Ngapali (some sections may need to be covered on the tarmac road that runs parallel to the beach, depending on water levels). To the north, the sand ends not far north of Ngapali village, but there are some gems to discover further south, beyond the small island; the beach becomes more and more deserted until you arrive at an isolated fishing village, with its own beach front beer station.
Further south still, you will reach a river inlet with a tiny rope-operated ferry, just big enough to take three motorbikes. From here, you can travel a few kilometers further south to another fishing village, where the sand ends. The whole bike journey south from Ngapali can be done in two to three hours – but beware of the high tide, which may restrict your passage along.
Day (4) Pearl Beach
Breakfast at hotel. Take a Boat to Pearl Island .Playing water actives, At the afternoon back to beach . Overnight in Ngapali Beach.
Day (5) Ngapali Beach – Thandwe – Yangon by flight and sightseeing
After breakfast, morning at leisure before transfer to Thandwe airport for flight to Yangon. Arrival in Yangon airport and transfer to your hotel check in. After that, visit to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda to see huge reclining Buddha image. Continue visit to Bogyoke (Scott) Market by (closed on Monday) gives you the opportunity to see Myanmar’s wide range of handicrafts. In the evening, take a walk along Yangon River to see the busy harbor area, from where ferries leave for Pathein in the Delta. Overnight at hotel.
Day (6) Yangon Departure
After breakfast, relax in you hotel before departure. Your guide accompany to the Yangon International airport for your flight back home. You leave Myanmar and very friendly Myanmar people. Your Fascinating trip is end here.
